Graphic Design III: Web Media
The course introduces students to creating web designs using UI/UX, Paper Prototyping, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Adobe Animate and Webflow. At the completion of the course students have a working knowledge of creating web based graphics using software applications such as Photoshop, XD and Dreamweaver. This course is designed to enhance students’ awareness of different aesthetics, especially in the context of interactive media and the web. The course will start off with learning about design principles, typography, web standards, designing for the web, etc. It will involve investigation of existing web-sites, interface, information architecture, etc. Students will use that comprehension to analyze and evaluate interactive work, and figure out if there are any underlying principles that make them work.
